Financing Terms:

In collaboration with The Energy Network, Matadors Community Credit Union offers Southern California homeowners low annual percentage rate (APR) financing on residential energy efficiency and solar projects.

Before contacting the lender, be sure to talk with a Participating Contractor to make sure that you qualify for the incentive programs.

  • Financing Amounts: $2,500 – $50,000
  • Type of Loans: Unsecured, a UCC-1 lien may be required.
  • * APR = Annual Percentage Rate. Payment per $1,000 funded: 4.99% – $18.87, 5.99% – $11.10, 6.99% – $8.99. Rates are subject to change at any time. Rates include a .50% discount for automatic payments. Must meet credit and income criteria. Membership required. Equal opportunity lender.
  • Other: No prepayment penalties or closing costs. Loan value may equal full amount of qualifying scope of work (not including rebates and incentives).

Top measures to finance with Home Energy Loans:

Eligibility Details

  • Residential, single family detached properties only.
  • The property must be served by Southern California Gas Company® and/or Southern California Edison.
  • Properties in the counties of Santa Barbara, Ventura, and San Luis Obispo are not eligible.
  • Energy efficiency projects must be enrolled in Energy Upgrade California® rebate and incentive offering.
  • If financing a solar project, solar projects must be installed concurrently with energy efficiency measures and must be permitted. The homeowner must provide the permit number of the Certificate of Completion.
